Blippi

I had the pleasure of collaborating with Spin Master to design and bring to life the new packaging for the Blippi toy range. This project involved creating a fresh, engaging design that reflected the playful and educational spirit of the Blippi brand while ensuring it resonated with both children and parents. In addition to the main packaging design, I was responsible for adapting the artwork across a variety of products and specifications, ensuring consistency and visual impact across different sizes and formats.

A key part of the project involved designing and creating precise dielines for the packaging, taking into consideration production requirements and the functional aspects of each package. This process required a keen eye for detail, as well as a deep understanding of the toy industry’s packaging standards. From initial concept to final execution, the project was a great opportunity to contribute to a highly recognizable children's brand and see the packaging come to life in stores.

Brand Challenge:

The challenge with the Blippi packaging design project was balancing input from various team members at Spin Master, each offering unique perspectives. Given the size and recognition of the Blippi brand, it was important to create packaging that was both playful and aligned with the brand’s educational spirit, while also meeting the practical requirements of different products and formats. It was also crucial to establish clear rules and sizing guides to ensure consistency across future products, so that all packaging would maintain a cohesive look. In addition to designing assets for the product line, I contributed to the final packaging designs for the entire range, ensuring a unified visual system that met both marketing and production goals.
