Female Formula reached out to develop new packaging concepts for their new product line, specifically drawing inspiration from the sleek, minimalist designs of brands like Glossier and Summer Fridays. The project focuses on creating concepts for a single flavour, Rainer Cherry, with the goal of exploring possible ways to modernise their packaging. If they decided to move forward and change the packaging, the new design could potentially be extended across the rest of the range. The client wanted to explore several design directions while maintaining some key elements of their current packaging to preserve brand recognition. Colour-wise, they wished to keep the hues of their previous packaging but were open to incorporating a secondary tone to enhance the overall design.
For Rejuvv's packaging design, the main challenge centered around sourcing imagery. The brand wanted to use free, high-quality images, but Rainer Cherries proved difficult to find in high-resolution, especially ones suitable for packaging. Given the specific needs for the imagery, I had to rely heavily on my Photoshop skills to create custom visuals. Additionally, I leveraged the strengths of generative AI to assist in crafting and refining the imagery, ensuring the final design met both the brand’s aesthetic and quality standards.
